Independent Statement of Standards

For the past 5 years running, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C., a national, independent CPA firm, was engaged by FullControl Network to perform an annual audit and report on the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of our controls. The report is intended for use by our clients and their auditors for the purpose of engaging in discussions relating to developing a business relationship for various projects.

The SSAE 16 Type II certification designates that FullControl Network delivers reliable and secure operating environments with the proper controls for conducting high-availability data center operations.

SSAE is an internationally accepted standard that was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as the authoritative guide for reporting on service organizations and is the recognized mark of service quality. The Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16 Type II is one of the most significant auditing standards for an IT service company.

SSAE 16 replaced existing SAS 70 Type 1 and Type 2 audit reports and is designed to provide customers with a level of assurance of corporate controls of service organizations.

The SSAE 16 SOC 1 report and the SAS 70 Type 1 report are similarly focused in content, but the SSAE 16 SOC 1 report includes an assertion by management for the system description and related control objectives.

The SSAE 16 Type 1 report documents the auditor’s’ opinion regarding the accuracy, completeness and suitability of the design of internal controls as of a set date. The SSAE 16 Type 2 report audits the implementation of the SSAE 16 Type 1 report over a set period of time, typically 6 months to a year and requires sample testing of each control for operating effectiveness during the specified period.

Your customer is wanting to verify that their service provider(s ) are in compliance with their commitments. The Auditors' Report contains the information needed by most organizations, while others may require a review of the full SOC Report.

Our Service Organization Controls (SOC) are audited twice yearly with new reports issued at the start of the new year. This complies with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as well as the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE).
